PRINT DESIGNER

Are you a creative and professional print designer who would love to work for Weekday? We are looking for a new print designer to join our Design Department! As a print designer at Weekday you will be a part of a team including a senior print designer, designer, buyer, buying assistant and pattern makers. Together with your team you will take part in mapping out the over-all direction of our MTWTFSS ladies collection. You will be working together with the senior print designer in developing the prints for our assortment.

To satisfy the demands of such an environment, you need to be a strong team player, flexible, organized and good at planning. You have at least three years of design studies at a university or post-secondary school level. You have very good knowledge in Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign. We also require fluent/skilled English, both written and spoken.

 

You have excellent illustration skills and you are used to designing by hand and computer. You are driven and love to learn and develop. You are very interested in fashion and trends, are eager to spot and create currant as well as upcoming graphics and print techniques. Menswear Design Assistant

The role of Menswear Design Assistant at Weekday is perfect for an experienced design assistant who can combine creativity with commercial thinking. This is a full time position based in Stockholm. As a design assistant at Weekday you will be a part of a large team including designers, buyers, technicians and assistants who you will work with to map the direction of the brand. You will assist the designer in developing the assortment; analyze trends; create mood boards, trend presentations and sketches, and work with colouring.

Store manager Rotterdam

ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER Rotterdam

The assistant store manager of a weekday store is responsible for the day-to-day management of the store, such as planning, leading and delegating the store activities in accordance with the store manager, overall company policy and concept. For the most part the job consists of being part of the daily sales and finding new ways to improve sales and working to achieve the company goal and budget.

 

Furthermore, the assistant store manager shall actively work to manage, motivate and inspire the team. Reacting to the circumstances of the store sales is one of the main responsibilities. You also take care of keeping the employees updated, improving routines and being in charge of the conceptual look of the store together with the store manager and visual merchandiser. The assistant store manager is a role model for the staff and also an advisor for the costumer.

Denim Pattern Maker

Are you an experienced Pattern Maker who likes to be a part of a creative environment? Weekday is looking for a Pattern Maker for our denim department! As a Pattern Maker, you will be working as a member of the Weekday Buying- and Design team, reporting to the Head of Buying. The post is a full time assignment. It’s a senior position, located at the Weekday head office in Stockholm.

 

As patternmaker at Weekday, you will be responsible for getting the right fit and right silhouette based on the team's design vision as well as the right technical dressmaking solutions from a customer perspective. You are an experienced and creative patternmaker who is confident in your skills and ideas. You have at least one year of studies at a post-secondary school level. You also have documented experience of working as a pattern maker for three years or more. Your skills include working with Adobe Illustrator and being a fluent/skilled user of English. As a person, you enjoy collaborating with others, taking responsibility and working in a buzzing, creative environment.
